Are you interested in participating in the Taylor High School Marching Band for the 2024- 2025 season? Then this is the meeting for you!
WHEN: 6pm on Thursday, April 4, 2024 (previously scheduled for Wednesday 4/3)
WHO: MANDATORY for both NEW and CONTINUING students and their parent(s)/guardian(s), interested in participating in the THS Marching Band. (NOTE: Open to students currently in 7-11th grade, who will be in grades 8-12th in the 2024-2025 school year. Depending on needs, we MAY accept a very limited number of middle school “preemies,” with a referral from their current band director.)
WHERE: Taylor High School Choir Room – enter the building through door #4 (off of Beech Daly near the Maintenance awning, to the left of the main office entrance)
If you are interested in joining or continuing marching band, you and your parent(s)/legal guardian(s) need to be at this meeting!
Please join our Band Director Brian Wieczorek, Assistant Director Markita Moore and our THS Music Boosters for this mandatory meeting. We will be providing information on how Marching Band works for our upcoming 2024-25 season including our NEW band camp location (with air conditioning!!!), rehearsals, performances, competitions, expectations, price increases, fundraisers, volunteer opportunities, THS Music Boosters, etc.
