As a part of a new initiative at Taylor School District, our staff has been operating with a more Resilient and Trauma-Informed approach to learning. With that in mind, we are now implementing several Social-Emotional Learning best practices for student engagement and connectedness.
Taylor High School teachers have been practicing this approach by creating "Calming Corners" and "Reset Spaces" in their classrooms to accommodate student well-being. These are a few examples of some of the wonderful spaces our teachers have created.
