Girls Bowling wins first championship for THS!

The girls’ varsity bowling team has finally earned a Downriver League championship for THS! On Wednesday, February 15>span class="qowt-font3-Arial">, they defeated Wyandotte to capture the Downriver League title. The team has been very competitive over last few years, but always came up short. More importantly, this year’s squad not only won the league championship, it is the first championship in any sport since we became the Taylor Griffins in 2018!
Bowling was officially recognized as a varsity sport in 2002. >span class="qowt-font3-Arial">ladies is the state tournament which begins February 24th at Skore Lanes in Taylor.
